IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold
Washington
December 17, 1950 – February 8, 2016
A Time To Be Born
Harold Washington, son of the late George Washington and Evelena Bradley Washington, was born on December 17, 1950 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
A Time To LIVE
Harold received his education in the Berkeley County School System. He was employed by Berkeley County Roads and Bridges and formerly employed by Keystone Electronics in New York.
Harold was united in holy matrimony to Deloris Houston and to this union five children were born. Two children, Jermaine Houston and Derrick Washington, preceded him in death.
Harold enjoyed sitting outdoors enjoying nature and the cool breeze. He also enjoyed his grandchildren. They brought life into him, and this kept him on his toes.
A Time To MOURN
On Monday, February 8, 2016, God called Harold home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Deloris Washington; four daughters, Gwendolyn Rhames, Monique Gissentanner both of St. Stephen, SC, Consondra Gethers (Deamanco Sr.) of Cross, SC and Timekia Washington of Moncks Corner, SC; two sons, Tyrone Washington of Moncks Corner, SC and Deron Milligan of Orangeburg, SC; siblings: Dorothy Dixon, Elenora Haynes, Thomas Washington, Vernon Washington (Sylvia) and Wesley Washington (Bertha Mae); twenty-one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by two siblings, Laura Mae Washington and Alma Washington.
