Harry Lee Brown was born on December 27, 1951 in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of the late Johnson and Louise Brown.  He passed away on January 31, 2017 at his home in Moncks Corner, SC.

Harry grew up on Green Hill and was educated in Berkeley County public schools.  In his late teens, he moved to Bronx, NY where he lived with his oldest sister Isadora.  He was employed by Macy's Department Store.

In 1982, Harry married Angela Graham. To this union, they were blessed with two sons, Harold and Christopher Brown.  After moving back to Moncks Corner in 1989, he was employed at Walmart, and most recently Piggly Wiggly, until he retired in 2016.

Harry, affectionately called "Candy Man" by friends and "Monkey" by family, was an humble, hardworking, loving and kind person.  He enjoyed fishing and was known to sing and dance.  He was loved by all and had a deep love for his family, especially his sons.

Harry leaves to mourn his memory: his two sons, Harold (Shoko) and Christopher Brown and their mother, Angela Graham;  three grandsons, Deshaun, Malik and Maurice; his siblings, Isadora (David) Rollerson, Anna (Earl) Levy, Robert Lee Reid, Matthew Brown, John Brown, Larry Brown and Alfredia Brown; his step-siblings, Nehemiah Bryant (Leathia) and Lucille Maloyd.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, one aunt, Ruth Ann Brown; an honoray "sister", Altouise Legree; a special brother-in-law, Earl Levy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Words cannot express how much we will miss our hear Harry, a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
