Henry "Bunk" Davis, son of the late Johnny Davis and Effie Wilson Davis McGinnis was born November 15, 1932 in Shulerville, South Carolina. He went to his eternal rest on August 27, 2018.

From early childhood, Bunk, as he was affectionately known, became a member of and attended Wesley A.M.E. Church with his family. He attended the public schools of Berkeley County and, as an adult, worked in the pulpwood and logging business.

Bunk led a quiet life, tending his garden and watching all types of sports - from football to golf. He had an open heart and a warm personality, and his life was marked with love for his family.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Horace Davis and a sister, Nancy Davis Snider.

There are many remaining who have been enriched by Bunk's presence in their lives and will treasure fond memories of him: a sister, Elsie Carryall; two brothers, Cleveland James Davis and Johnny Lee Davis; a sister-in-law, Martha Morrison Davis; a close niece, Arnette Davis Rivers and her husband, Freddie Rivers; one step-sister, Reola Wilson and step-brothers, George, Leroy and Isaac McGinnis; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
