A TIME TO BE BORN...

Mr. Henry Washington "Cudda", the son of the late Louis and Ellen Washington Sr., was born March 12, 1936 in Jamestown, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by Julie Phyall Washington (first wife); Earlene Washington (second wife); three brothers, Harry Simmons Jr., Louis Washington and James Washington; and one son, Pascal Washington.

A TIME TO DIE...

His beautiful productive life ended Monday, January 27, 2020 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina. His journey is now completed, but his legacy lives on.

A TIME FOR EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN...

He received his education in the Berkeley County School System at Jamestown Colored Grade School. He was employed as a Maintenance Tech at Santee River Wool until he retired. He was also employed with the Berkeley County School District where he also retired.

Having been reared in a Christian home where values were instilled and portrayed by loving and devoted parents, at an early age, Henry joined New Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church. Over the years, he was a member of the Choir, a Class Leader and a member of the Building Committee. His hobbies were fishing, raising his livestock, visiting the sick and shut-in, and spending time with his family.

A TIME TO BE BLESSED...

Henry was united in Holy Matrimony to Julie Phyall Washington who preceded him in death. To this union four devoted children were born: Delbert, Ronald, Kathy and Pascal.  Henry later was united in Holy Matrimony to Earlene Washington who also preceded him in death.
