It is with sincere sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Herman Shaw, Jr. of St. Stephen, South Carolina, who departed this life on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Mr. Shaw leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Herman Gethers (Malisa), Allen Gethers, Sr. (Lucille), and Zavon Turner-Shaw; and his siblings, Connie Mae Nelson, Bertha Shaw, and Josephine Shaw; and a host of family and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Shaw will be held Friday, October 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. The Home Going Celebration will take place Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, Inc., 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will be private.
