Inez Fludd McNeil, known to many as "Nell", was born on June 13, 1950 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Luther and Josephine Segar Fludd. Inez answered God's call and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. Inez attended the public schools of Berkeley County and graduated from Berkeley Training High School in 1968. She later became a homemaker. Inez was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie James McNeil. This union was blessed with six children whom she loved and cared for dearly. Willie James preceded her in death. She later was blessed with a special lifetime friend, Addison Robinson of Alvin, SC. Inez was a dedicated cook and grandmother. She also enjoyed helping others and spending time with her friends and loved ones. She enjoyed the outdoors and quiet evenings sitting on the porch watching the sun go down. She was a person who was upfront and very honest with you. Inez was straightforward and very direct, but was also extremely generous. She welcomed you with open arms and brought joy to many. Inez was preceded in death by her sister, Retha Fludd Jackson. Her memories will always be cherished by: her children, Sabrina McNeil of Philadelphia, PA, Jamie McNeil (Kelly) and Willie James McNeil both of Summerville, SC, Tyrone McNeil, Andrew McNeil and Kevin McNeil all of Alvin, SC; a special companion, Addison Robinson of Alvin, SC; a stepdaughter, Sharon Robinson of Alvin, SC; two sisters, Lottie Gregg (Willie) and Betty Copeland (Jonathan) both of Moncks Corner, SC; two brothers, Luther "Blackie" Fludd (Sarah) of Moncks Corner, SC and Willie James Fludd (Esther) of Jamestown, SC; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Willie Jackson of Georgia; a special neice, Vanessa Fludd; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
