April 4, 1936 – April 21, 2017
On Friday, April 21, 2017, Inez Jacqulyn Pasley, daughter of the late George and Daisy Fulmore Pasley, said farewell and entered into eternal rest.
Inez was born on April 4, 1936 in Moncks Corner, SC. She attended the public schools of Berkeley County, graduating from Berkeley Training High School. She continued her education at South Carolina State College, Orangeburg, SC, attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She earned a Master Degree in Counseling at Hampton Institute, Hampton, VA.
Inez began her educational career as a business teacher and retired as a guidance counselor at Berkeley High School in 1987.
It was in her parents' home that she experienced love and was nurtured in the faith. She held membership in St. James A.M.E. Church, and after the merger with Graham A.M.E. Church, the name was changed to Moncks Corner A.M.E. Church. She served her church in the following capacity: Stewardess Board #1, Session-Gillians Women's Missionary Society, Chancellor and Cathedral Choir, Budget and Finance Committee, Chairperson of several fund raising projects, Chairperson of several souvenir booklets, and the Lay Organization.
Those cherishing and will continue to grow from her loving memory are: her nieces, Reverend Cassandra P. Jackson (Robert) of Orangeburg, SC and Sharon M. Fashion of Moncks Corner, SC; nephews, Michael A. Fashion of Virginia Beach, VA, Victor Fashion III of Moncks Corner, SC, George M. Pasley (Dr. Kristine) of North Charleston, SC and Matthew C.
