Obituary

Mother Ineza Pugh Bryan, the daughter of the late Henry and Rosanna Pugh, was born on December 24, 1918 in the MacBeth Section of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Ineza was the oldest of her five siblings. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at her residence. Mother Ineza was educated in the Berkeley County School System. At an early age, she accepted Christ and became a member of Anderson Baptist Church, where she served faithfully for many years on the Senior Choir and the Missionary Board. She was also a faithful member of the Christian Aid Society. Mother Bryan loved to sing and worship God. During her travel to the different churches in the area, she was always willing to serve on devotional services at Usher Anniversaries and Harvest Festivals. She also took part in the Candlelight programs. Mother Bryan was a woman of many talents. She loved to cook, plant flowers and work in the garden. She also raised chickens and farm animals. She was also reared one stepsister, Maggie Reid. Mother Bryan had many songs that she loved to sing, some of which were: "Somebody Touched Me", "Jesus Will Be Right Here By My Side", "Come On In The Prayer Room" and "I've Been Running for Jesus a Long Time, I Ain't Tired Yet". She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1939 to Mr. Jessie Bryan. To this union together God blessed them with fourteen children. Her husband, along with three children, William Bryan, Sammy Bryan and Juanita Bryan Diggs, and four siblings preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her children, Hattie Hunter, Anna Lee Wright (Leon), Jessie Bryant, Jr. (Viola), Rosanna Lesaine, Ernestine Bryan, Ella Mae Jones, Bishop Allen Bryant (Edith), Evangelist Isadora Middleton (Henry), Carolyn Lanier (Leonard), Debra Shaw (Rev. Don) and Franklin Bryan; four grandchildren she raised in the home, Caroline Diggs, John Diggs, Earlean Diggs Howell and Sonya Bryan; thirty-five grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; five great, great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rebecca Pugh; special cousins, Mrs. Geneva Irving, Mrs. Beauty Richardson, Mrs. Rosezenia Bartley Johnson and Mrs. Lucille Bryant; special friends, Mrs. Jackie Johnson, Mrs. Lillie Mae Jasper, Dr. Lela H.
