Let not your heart be troubled... ~ John 14:1 Isaac E. Wood, Sr. was born October 15, 1917, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. He was the second oldest of six children born the late Arthur and Catherine Drummond. Isaac attended school in Jamaica and later became a citizen of the United States. He gained employment with General Development and then American Standard until he retired. He was united in holy matrimony to Shirley B. Wood on October 18, 1952 for 61 years. Isaac was known for his love for people and his great sense of humor. Isaac departed this life on April 30, 2014. Isaac was preceded in death by his father, his mother (who was 102 years old), and two brothers. He leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley B. Wood of Moncks Corner, SC; ten children: Megan Drummond (Winfred) of Ontario, Canada, Gwendolyn Davis (Joe), William Roy (Louise), Patricia Brown, Catherine Wood, Isaac Wood, Jr. (Evelyn), Barbara Wood, Phillip Wood, Alvin Wood (Johnnitta) all of Trenton, NJ and Telita Williams of Moncks Corner, SC; two sisters, Jane Drummond of Jamaica and Taleta Haye of London, England; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, church family and friends. ***************************************************************************** To send condolences or memorial messages to the family, please click on "SIGN GUEST BOOK."
