Isiah "Boy" Mazyck, son of the late Dea. Franklin Mazyck and Mary Lee Brown Mazyck, was born December 7, 1946. He entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, SC. Isiah became a member of Jehovah Baptist Church, Bonneau, SC at an early age. He graduated from Russellville High School in 1965. He served as a Specialist in the United States Army. He also was a member of the Disabled Veterans Organization. He was united in holy wedlock to Melvina Bishop in 1969. To this union, four beautiful children were born. He was employed at Santee Cooper until his health failed. Loved ones who cherish his memories are his loving wife, Melvina B. Mazyck. Four children: Constance Washington of St. Stephen, SC; Isiah Reginald (Sore'l) Mazyck, Moncks Corner, SC; Darren Mazyck, St. Stephen, SC; Keshanda (Lanair) King, Charleston, SC. Five sisters: Maxine Ravenell, Edith (Douglas) Blount, Deborah Allen, all of St. Stephen, SC. Elouise Mazyck, Columbia, SC, Hernetha (Levant) Goodman of Alvin, SC. Six sisters-in-law: Julia (Andrew) Gourdine, Joan Perrin, Clara M. Bishop, Kathleen (Floyd) Norton, Alice (David) Bland, Anna (James) Jenkins. One brother-in-law: Richard Bishop, Jr. all of South Carolina. Seven aunts, four uncles, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a close and dedicated friend, George Simmons. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
