James Freeman Dingle, son of the late Henry and Margarea Dingle, was born on August 15, 1955.
Education… (A Time to Learn)
James received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County.
Employment… (A Time to Work)
James' work history began with being a welder at General Dynamic. Later he was employed as a longshoreman at International Longshoreman Association Local #1422 from where he retired in 2014. He was also a truck driver with several trucking companies.
Matrimony… (A Time to Love)
James was united in matrimony to his high school sweetheart, Marilyn Yvonne Ellington on May 8, 1976. To this union, two children were born, Delmore (DJ) and Bryron Dingle.
The Church… (A Time to Worship)
James was a member of Canaan Christian Church.
The End… (A Time to Die)
On December 7, 2017, his life on this earth ended.
His Survivors… (A Time to Leave Memories)
Left to cherish James' memories are: his wife, Marilyn Yvonne Ellington Dingle of the home; his sons, DJ Dingle of North Charleston, SC and Bryron Dingle of Moncks Corner, SC; and his granddaughter, his precious little angel Bryli Dingle.
Siblings: John Dingle (Elaine) of Moncks Corner, SC, Melvin Dingle (Peggy) and Levi Dingle (Dorothy) of Summerville, SC; uncle, Apostle Clyde Smith (Floretta) of Goose Creek, SC.
In-laws: father-in-law, David Ellington, Sr; brothers-in-law, David Ellington, Jr., Alvin Ellington and Barry Dawson; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Dawson, Mary Ellington, Helen Ellington and Jettie Ellington; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
