It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. James Jenkins of Pineville, SC, who entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, June 15, 2023. He was the widower of Mrs. Elizabeth M. Jenkins.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his children, James (Caroline) Jenkins, Jr., Jerry L. (Debra) Jenkins, Gloria J. (John) Whitten, Anthony D. (Debbie) Jenkins, Antoinette D. (Wayne) Jefferson, Valerie J. Sumpter, Evonne J. (David Sr.) Whaley; grandson raised in the home, Sheldon M. (Sophia) Jenkins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary J. Ramsey; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at Redeemer Reformed Episcopal Church, 2173 Highway 45, Pineville, SC. Interment, Blanding Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the funeral home (Moncks Corner). There will be no viewing after the service.
