Jennie Lou Fennick Daniels, daughter of the late William and Ina P. Fennick, was born on October 18, 1932 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Roper St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, South Carolina.
"Poolly", as she was affectionately known by her family, was a graduate of Berkeley Training High School, Class of 1951, Moncks Corner, SC. Jennie traveled to Newark, New Jersey where she was employed by Westing Electric for 35 years until her retirement.
Jennie moved to Pawley's Island, SC in 1991 with her late husband, Mr. Walter H. Daniels, Sr. In 1999, she returned to Moncks Corner, SC where she provided care for her mother until her passing in 2008.
Jennie was a member of Moncks Corner AME Church. She later moved her membership to Freewill Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a faithful and dedicated member until her health began to decline.
Jennie loved her family and church. She will be truly missed by her community.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Mr. Walter H. Daniels Jr. (Miriam) of Pawley's Island, SC and Mr. Andrew J. Daniels Sr. (Marie) of Linden, NJ; siblings, Mrs. Naomi Fennick Simmons and Mr. William Fennick Jr. both of Moncks Corner, SC; a devoted nephew, Mr. Bruce Fennick (Annette) of Goose Creek, SC; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Georgia Mae Brown of Shellman, GA, Mrs. Lucille Denard of Merritt Island, FL, Mrs. Easter Buckner of Cocoa, FL, Mrs. Jewel Daniels of Atlanta, GA and Mrs. Josephine Fennick of Moncks Corner, SC; brother-in-law, Mr. Ivory Devore of East Orange, NJ; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Cemetery, Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC. As per CDC guidelines for COVID-19, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at the viewing and the service. The service will be live-streamed on our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/gethersfh .
