It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. John Covington of Harlem, NY, beloved husband of Mrs. Bessie Huger Covington. Mr. Covington entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 5, 2025.

A Celebration of Life Service life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Interment will follow in Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cross, SC.
