Obituary

John Wallace, Jr., better known as "Jet", was born September 29, 1946 in Lone Star, SC. He was a son of Mr. John Henry Wallace and Mrs. Adline Butler Wallace.

Jet attended Gaillard Elementary School and Roberts High School where he received his diploma. He was employed by the State as a Rodbuster, an Iron Worker and Iron Rigger. He built structures such as the Mark Clark Bridge, Charleston International Airport, Cross Power Plant, St. Stephen Power Plant, parking lots and many other structures.

Jet showed interest in the bible. He attended meetings, conventions and assemblies faithfully for the last several  years with Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jet found great enjoyment with fast cars, trucks and watching old Western shows. In his leisure time, he truly enjoyed talking with his family and friends as they enjoyed the weekend laughing and playing cards in his "Man Cave". He will be remembered by his catch phrases, "Jam up" and "Hey Bo".

Jet departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021 at his home.
