Joseph, known as "Little Joe" to family and loved ones, received his education in Berkeley County, SC and in New York City, NY. He was a 1961 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, New York. Joseph was employed in the jewelry industry as a Jewelry Polisher. Upon relocating to Moncks Corner, he was employed by Carolina Nurseries. Joseph attended Second Union Baptist Church in New York and sang with the choir. While in Moncks Corner, he was a member of Greater Emanuel A.M.E. Church. Joseph departed this life Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Trident Medical Center, Charleston, SC. "Little Joe" leaves to cherish his memory: uncles and aunts, Theodore and Nettie Reid, Sr.; Alonia Reid Frazier all of Moncks Corner, SC and Alfred and Susie Reid of Austin, TX; and a host of cousins and friends.
