Joyce Ann Edwards Frazier was born August 2, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the second oldest of four children born to the late Bennie Harris Edwards and the late Louvenia Lovia Jackson Edwards. She was called to eternal rest on March 25, 2015 at Hospice of Charleston, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Joyce moved to Macon, Georgia and lived with her Aunt Letitia "Tish" Edwards and Uncle Theodore "Big Daddy" Edwards. She was a 1956 graduate of Ballard-Hudson High School, Macon, Georgia. She continued further studies at Fordham Business College of New York City, New York and Trident Technical College of North Charleston, South Carolina. She was very skillful in many things, but her niche was in accounting where she worked many years. At an early age, Joyce gave her life to Christ and was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Macon, Georgia.
