Julian Jones, son of the late Sceipo and Laura Lambright Jones, was born October 1, 1915 in Bonneau, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 18, 2009 at The Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Everyone who knew Julian called him "Buck Jones". "Buck" received his education in the public school system of Berkeley County, SC. He was a member of White Chapel Holiness Church, St. Stephen, SC. "Buck" was married to the late Sara Smalls Jones. They were blessed with five children. One son, Joseph (Joe), preceded him in death. "Buck" was employed at Westvaco of Charleston, SC for thirty-five years. After his retirement in 1980, he spent most of his free time fishing until his health started failing. He leaves to cherish fond memories: sons, William (Belinda), Richard, Kenneth (Candice), and Henry (Dollie); daughter, Loraine; a devoted grandson, Daniel; daughter-in-law, Betty Jones of Philadelphia, PA; brothers-in-law, Sam Smalls, Sr. of St. Stephen, SC and Johnny (Essie) Smalls of Holly Hill, SC; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Legree of Washington, DC and Maggie Smalls of Philadelphia, PA; fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
