"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." - I Corinthians 15:52
Kenneth Leroy Marion
,
the eldest son of Robert and Henrietta Marion, was born on March 3, 1959 in Summerville, South Carolina. Early Friday morning, February 2, 2018, at his home, God called his name and he answered and went home to be with the Lord.
Kenneth was educated in the public school system of Berkeley County. He later attended Benedict College, Columbia, SC, where he received his Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science.
Kenneth knew and accepted God as his personal Savior. He was a member of Greater St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, where he served as a member of the Steward, Trustee and Finance Boards.
On December 24, 1983, he was united in Holy Matrimony to his high school sweetheart, the former Gail Oretta Smith, daughter of the late William and Carrie Bell Smith, at Greater St. James A.M.E. Church. This union was blessed with one son, Kendrick Jeffery Marion.
