********************************************************

Lakala Nicole King was born on May 19, 2002 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Lakeysha King. At an early age she was given to Anthony and Christina "Chrissy" King to love and nurture as their own.  Although Chrissy was not the biological mother, the bond between Lakala and Chrissy was an instant connection, and nothing could deny the love they had for each other.

"Kala" attended H.E. Bonner Elementary, Macedonia Middle, Miracle Academy and St. Stephen Middle schools.  She was a member of New Vision Fellowship where she was christened and baptized.  She was a member of the Children's Choir and Junior Bible Quiz Team where she won several awards and trophies.  Upon moving to South Carolina, she became a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church where she sang in the children's choir. She was presently a member of Abiding Word Family Ministries.

"Kala" had a love of science and her ambition was to become an astronomer.  She had a great fascination and interest in space, especially stars.  And there was no star that shined brighter than Kala. She loved to sing and dance.  She also loved You Tube and Musically website.

"Kala" was a loving and caring person.  She never would leave home without telling everyone that she loved them.  Her family was special to her. She believed that her Dad Anthony was Superman and could do any and every thing. She considered her Mom Chrissy the Sun.  Her brothers, no matter how they may have gotten on her nerves at times, were her world, especially her older brother James. To her, they were Jupiter and Mars.

She is survived by her father, Anthony King of St. Stephen, SC; brother, James Anthony King and sister-in-law, Melanie King; grandparents, Oswald and Emma King of Gary, IN and Rosie Ann Jackson of Welch, WV; great-grandmother, Rev. Catherine Washington of Pineville, SC, Helen Stallworth of West Virginia; great, great-grandmother, Louise Stallworth; three nieces, three nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
