Mr. Lawrence "Jug" Holmes, the son of Ida Lee Holmes Campbell, was born October 3, 1971 in Berkeley County, South Carolina.  He was raised by his grandparents, the late Willie and Dorothy Holmes.  "Jug" entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

"Jug" received his education in the Berkeley County Schools.

"Jug" loved to dance, tell jokes, be around family and having a good time.

"Jug" was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Dorothy Holmes; father, Jerry Campbell, Sr.; and uncles, Johnny and Walter.

"Jug" leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ida Lee Campbell; six siblings, JoAnne (Luther) Gadsden, Jermaine (Tamesha) Holmes, Danyell (Joseph) Cleveland, Lucille (Steven) Brown, Dorothy Campbell all of St. Stephen, SC and Jerry (Crystal) Campbell of Laurens, SC; two special friends, Samuel Cleveland and Kevin McClennon; seven aunts, Lucille (James), Anna (Gilbert), Willie Ann (Esau), Juanita (Alphonso), Carolyn (Rick), Barbara and Richardeen; three uncles, Tony, Robert and David (Ann); twelve nieces and ten nephews.
