Leroy "Kil Roy" Manigault, Sr., the son of the late Jack Manigault, Sr. and Julia Ann Reid Manigault, was born July 20, 1950, in McClellanville, South Carolina. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, SC.Leroy attended Greater Mt. Zion AME Church Sunday School as a youngster. He received his education at South Santee Elementary School and Lincoln High School, McClellanville, SC. He was employed as a Drywall Construction Worker. He helped to complete the drywall work at the Medical University Children's Hospital, Charleston, SC.
Leroy was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Laura Manigault.
Leroy was a kindhearted person who always gave his best to others. He was cared for by his loving brother Lucas Manigault who preceded him in death on Sunday, August 21, 2017. He was also preceded in death by brother, Graylyn Manigault.
He will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving children, Keisha Manigault and Leroy Manigault, Jr.; two brothers, Jack Manigault, Jr. (Debra) of Summerville, SC, Norman Manigault (Sharnette) of McClellanville, SC; two sisters, Esther Manigault and LaVern Smalls (Peter, Jr.) both of McClellanville, SC; sister-in-law, Sharina Tammy Manigault of McClellanville, SC; three aunts, Mary Howard of McClellanville, SC, Nena Reid and Frances Reid both of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
