Liesbon Frasier, Sr., the son of the late James Frasier and Mariah Green Frasier, was born on July 23, 1922 in McClellanville, South Carolina. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Liesbon was reared in a Christian environment and was led to joining church at an early age. He was a faithful member of Greater Mt. Zion AME Church where he served as a member of the Trustee Board and was Class Leader of Class No. 14. Liesbon was also a member of South Santee Lodge No. 2, Free and Accepted Masons for over 50 years. He attended the public schools of Charleston County. He was employed with the Army Depot and retired from the Charleston County Convenience Center. Liesbon married his best friend, Mary Julia Randolph on September 13, 1946. Through this union, they were blessed with four children; two children, Coleman Sherman Lee Frasier and Jeraldine Janet Frasier Garrett, preceded him in death. Liesbon enjoyed laughter and was always seen with a smile. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man of great character; he loved life and being around those who loved him. He was a man of peace. Loving memories of Liesbon will be cherished by: his loving and devoted wife of 65 years, Mary J. Randolph Frasier of McClellanville, SC; two sons, Liesbon Frasier, Jr. (Elouise) of McClellanville, SC and Perry Frasier (Dawn) of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Rosa Lee Frasier Fludd of Charleston, SC; a daughter-in-law, Eudora S. Frasier of Georgetown, SC; a son-in-law, Jackie Garrett, Sr. of McClellanville, SC; three brothers-in-law, Elder John Randolph (Ethel) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Lonnie Randolph, Sr. (Susan) and Rev. John H. Gillyard of McClellanville, SC; one sister-in-law, Leola Randolph Coakley (Ben) of Charleston, SC; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
