Loretta Frazier Scott was born December 30, 1957, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Timothy Frazier and Bernice Gibbs Frazier. She departed this life January 30, 2024, at her residence in Charleston, South Carolina.

Loretta received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County. She was employed at Detyens Shipyards Inc.

Loretta was a quiet person who loved her family. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory are: her children, Jamaine Frazier (Chenelle Pearson), Fredrick Scott, James Scott, Lorraine Scott, Larry Scott and Mark Scott; grandchildren; siblings, Betty Walker (David), Timothy Frazier, Jr., Deloris Rorie Harris, Shelia Wilson (William) and Bernice Frazier; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery. Viewing will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
