Mrs. Lorine "Sister" Benjamin Haywood of Ladson, South Carolina peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 5, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered for her warm spirit and the joy she found in simple pleasures such as cooking, playing Bingo, and enjoying games of spades with family and friends.

Mrs. Haywood’s legacy lives on through her cherished children: Ruthie Benjamin, Anthony Benjamin, Brenda Burden, Lorie Benjamin, and Yolanda Benjamin, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her sibling, Leroy (Irma E.) Benjamin along with other relatives and friends.

A viewing to for Mrs. Haywood’s will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.
