Lottie Everlena Gregg, known to all as "Lena", was born on September 30, 1941 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina to the late Luther and Josephine Fludd. She was the eldest of six siblings. She heard and answered God's call and entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Roper-Berkeley Medical Center, Moncks Corner, SC. At an early age, she joined Greater Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. She loved and supported her church which was shown by her time with the Women's Missionary Society. Lottie was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County, graduating from Berkeley Training School in 1962. Upon graduation, she relocated to Bronx, NY. While there, she was employed as a Child Care Provider and later as a Caregiver at Mother Jacob's Home. She moved back to Moncks Corner in 1999 and was employed with Little Angel's Daycare for five years. She found great pleasure in helping others. She was a classy lady who loved to entertain with style. Lottie was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Gregg, Jr. on December 9, 1961. This union was blessed with three children. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez McNeil and Aretha Jackson. Lifetime memories will always be cherished by: a loving and devoted husband, Willie Gregg, Jr.; her beloved children, Maggie Fludd, Dwayne A. Gregg and Jerome W. Gregg (Bobbie Jean); six grandchildren, André, Derrick, Shanta, Danea, Davonta and Essence; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Luther Fludd, Jr. (Sarah) and Willie James Fludd (Esther); one sister, Betty Copeland (Jonathan); two sisters-in-law, Verbeteen Dash and Betty Reid; two brothers-in-law, Richard Gregg (Betty) and Leo Gregg (Emily); three aunts, Bobbie Segar, Helen Harleston and Geneva Gaillard; one godchild, Joletha Copeland; a very dear niece, Kennedy Rivers; very special children in the neighborhood of whom she leaves behind her love; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
