It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Loverta B. Middleton of St. Stephen, SC who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at 222 Jannie Circle, Alvin, SC.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Alex S. Middleton, Jr. of St. Stephen; her children, Jarrod (Alicia) Middleton of Indian Head, MD, Alex (Shenetta) Middleton, Jr. of St. Stephen, SC, and Alexis Middleton of Moncks Corner, SC; grandchildren, Starr, Jordan, Amare and Amaya Middleton, and Willie Amous, Jr.; her mother, Daisy Sorrell of Baltimore, MD; siblings, Larry (Brenda) Brown of Alvin, SC; Antonio Sorrell of Baltimore, MD, Aaron Mosley, Jesse Mosley both of St. Stephen, SC, Albertha (Walter) Lee of Eutawville, SC, Mary (Dorlan) McIntosh of North Carolina, Larry Mosley, Jarriet (Mary) Mosley and Roosevelt (Lottie) Mosley all of St. Stephen, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Middleton was preceded in death by: her father, Julius Mosley; and siblings, Melvin Sorrell III, Sharon Sorrell and Harvey Sorrell.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be receiving friends at their home. Thank you for your prayers, understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
