Lucrisha Ann Jenkins McMillian, affectionately called "Lu" and "Crisha", was the second child born to Lewis Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth Holmes Jenkins on August 25, 1946. She transitioned to eternal life with the Lord on March 21, 2022.

Lucrisha was educated in the Berkeley County School District at Berkeley Training High School. While in attendance at Berkeley Training High, she was very popular. Lucrisha was First Attendant to Miss Berkeley, the President of the Lovettes, and a majorette. Upon her graduation in 1965, she was inspired to become a business administrator. Lucrisha furthered her education taking courses in business in New York City. She was later employed by the New York City Housing Authority as a Superintendent Secretary.

Lucrisha was married to Robert Hollis and this union was blessed with one daughter, Katrina Yvette Hollis McGregor. She later was united in holy matrimony to Elder Elston McMillian. This union was blessed with two children, Jamera McMillian Dones and Eushon McMillian who preceded her in death.

Lucrisha began her Christian journey at Moncks Corner A.M.E. Church. After moving to New York City, she fellowshipped with various churches, eventually becoming a member of The Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Lucrisha was a devout prayer warrior. She led many people to the Lord. While attending the Holy Temple, she was a Daughter of Zion and the Chairlady of the Junior Missionary auxiliaries. She exhibited the motto, "Serving Others." She visited, called, and ministered the sick and shut-in.

Lucrisha's interests were collecting recipe books, cooking, planting and caring for her plants. She had a fondness for animals. She absolutely loved spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: her husband of the home, Elder Elston McMillian; two daughters both of Moncks Corner, SC, Katrina Yvette Hollis McGregor and Jamera Antrice McMillian Dones; five grandchildren: Norman Lewis McGregor, Epiphany Antrice McGregor, Jonathan Isaiah McGregor, Zion Elizabeth Dones and Edmund Dones; one brother, Willie Frank Miller (Pammy Miller); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Friday, March 25, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside service will be Saturday, March 26, 2022, 4:00 p.m. at St. James AME Cemetery, 107 S. Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner, SC. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
