Margaret Lee Rhames, the daughter of the late James and Margaret Rhames, was born on September 23, 1949 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Margaret, well known as "Nunner" to her family and friends, received her education in the Berkeley County Schools and attended Berkeley Training High School.

"Nunner" joined Mitten Lane Holiness Church at a young age and later moved her membership to Freewill Holiness Church. She rededicated her life back to the Lord on June 2, 2019.

The Lord called "Nunner" home on Sunday, June 16, 2019. She answered His call and peacefully entered into eternal life with the Lord at PruittHealth, Moncks Corner, SC.

She was preceded in death by: one son, Nathaniel Rhames; two sisters, Edith Hutchinson and Betty Mouzon; one brother, Michael Rhames; and one brother-in-law, Victor Bryant.

Those left to cherish her fond memories: two daughters, Michele Rhames of Moncks Corner, SC and Gwendolyn Rhames of St. Stephen, SC; one brother, Rogers Rhames of St. Stephen, SC; one sister, Jeanette Rhames of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother-in-law, Willie Earl Mouzon of St. Stephen, SC; four grandchildren, Kiarre Rhames, Omarie Rhames, Rashaem Rhames and Leonna Holmes; two great-grandchildren, Avery and Jásiah; one aunt, Mary Grant; a very special friend, Herman Mouzon, Sr. of St. Stephen, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the O. Allen Gethers Memorial Chapel of GETHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will take place in Freewill Holiness Cemetery, Moncks Corner, SC. Viewing will be on FRIDAY, June 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
