Mr. Mark S. Jager, son of the late Willie N. Jager and Geraldine D. Gerald Jager, was born October 9, 1961. He departed this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital, Kingstree, SC.

Mark spent his early years in St. Stephen, SC where he attended Zion United Methodist Church. Mark was educated in the schools of Berkeley County and graduated from St. Stephen High School, Class of 1980, where he excelled in sports, especially basketball.

Mark was an extremely hard worker and started his career at Reliable Electric and later moved to Lake City, SC. He transitioned to Tupperware in Hemingway, SC.

Mark was a devoted family man who could be relied on for anything needed. Although being the youngest brother, he was viewed as the little "big" brother. His family also included his community which led to him being one of the founding members of Golden Stars, a community enrichment organization. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching various little league teams.

Mark and his former wife, Dorothy Wallace, share a son, Shurrodd. Mark leaves to cherish his memories: a loving companion, Barbara "Brenda" McFadden; his children, Shurrodd (Satirah), Mariquis (Heather), Zamar, Marcus, Brian, and Makayla; his siblings, Harriet Anderson, Priscilla Lawrence, Ralphine (George) Halls, Amanda Jager, Nathalie (Jeffrey) Johnson, Elnora Morgan, Reginald (Catherine) Gerald, Franklin Jenkins, and Jonathan (Michelle) Jager; his aunt, Isamay G. Moore; special nieces, Shaneka "Sha" Halls and Eureka "Reka" Anderson; grandchildren, Jania, Jasmine, Mastaria, Makale, and Mariayah; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
