It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Mae Cohens Walker of Brooklyn, NY,  formerly of Huger, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

Mrs. Walker leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Denzil Walker; her daughter, Paulette Walker; her granddaughter, Ayanna Fitzgerald; her sisters, Evelyn Cohens and Geneva C. Wright; and a host of dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Quillie Cohens, Sr. and Mabel Gray Cohens and siblings, Daisy Brock Jamerson and Quillie Cohens, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, 12:00 p.m., at New Hope United Methodist Church Life Center, 152 Heywardridge Lane, Huger, SC. Viewing will take place on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. THERE WILL BE NO VIEWING AFTER THE SERVICE. Burial will take place in New Hope UMC Cemetery, 3692 Cainhoy Road, Huger, SC.
