Martha Ann Dingle Williams, affectionately known as Sissy, the daughter of the late Reverend John and Eugenia Gaillard Dingle, was born on March 17, 1922 in Pineville, South Carolina. She departed this life on November 19, 2008 at Hospice Center of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was educated in the Berkeley County School System, where she later became a dedicated bus driver for thirty-six years. She was united in Holy Matrimony to John Williams. This union was blessed with five children. Her husband, along with a son, Socrates, preceded her in death. Sister Williams became a member of Day Dawn Baptist Church at an early age. She was a very faithful and dedicated member. She was affiliated with the Senior Usher Board, Senior Choir and the Senior Missionary until her illness. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories: her loving children, Annie Bell (Frank) Stewart of St. Stephen, SC, St. Julian (Georgia) Dingle of Chicago, IL, Robyn (John) Wigfall of Charleston, SC and Levy (Matilda) Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Ethel D. Hines of Charleston, SC and Queen R. Dingle of Pineville, SC; five sisters-in-law, Bertha Lee Williams, Lillian Williams, Lydia Green, Ernestine M.
