Marvin Darrell Brunson, son of the late Joe Brunson and Bertha Mae Brunson, was born on October 31, 1958. He departed this life on January 7, 2021.

Marvin was educated in the Berkeley County Public School System and was a graduate of Macedonia High School Class of 1977. After high school, Marvin moved to New York to explore his career options. Marvin started his career in 1978 at Industrial Chemical Corporation as a logistics operator.

Marvin had a love for fashion, music, and sports. His favorite basketball team was the Los Angeles Lakers. He enjoyed being entertained by his nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father Joe Brunson.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his mother, Bertha Mae Brunson of Jamestown, SC; sisters, Annette of Jamestown, SC, Gloria and Levolia both of Charleston, SC, Zena and Kandice both of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, Keiaunte and Darrell; nieces, Treneice, Malaika, Desirae and Jordan; one great nephew, Shaddarain; three great nieces, Taylor, Madison and Lauren; seven aunts, three uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home (Moncks Corner). Graveside Services will be held Monday, January 11, 2021, 12:00 p.m., at Savanna Creek Cemetery, Jamestown, SC.
