Mary F. Savage, daughter of the late Will Duggan and Mary Ella Jenkins Duggan, was born on July 29, 1945 in Washington County, Georgia. She departed this life on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Bonneau, South Carolina. She graduated from T.J. Elder High School in 1962 and moved to New York City the following year. There she completed college and obtained a Secretary degree and worked as a Secretary for various businesses for years, until she retired and moved to South Carolina. Upon relocating to South Carolina, Mary became a member of St. Peters African Methodist Episcopal Church, Bonneau, SC. Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her husband, Johnie J. Savage of Bonneau, SC; her children, Tracy White of Highland Springs, VA and Trevor Savage of Bonneau, SC; four grandchildren, DaShawn of Virginia, Daqwon, Nizar and Diovion all of Bronx, NY; one brother, Joe Duggan of Brooklyn, NY; three sisters, Mary Wilson of Atlanta, GA, Elouise Duggan of Bronx, NY and Bessie L. Duggan of Sandersville, GA; a host of stepchildren and step-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
