Mathes Jerome McMillan, lovingly known as "Black" and "Ace," was born June 19, 1959 to Mr. Mathes and Juanita McMillan in New York, NY. Early on, Jerome proved to be a special child and excelled in his studies. He was a graduate of Automotive H.S. and studied at LaGuardia Community College, where he pursued a host of interests including creative writing and culinary arts. To add to his accomplishments, Jerome was an Army Veteran who earned an honorable discharge in 1978. In 1977, he met and married Lynn Conway and from this union two daughters, Sincere' and Charnelle, were born. Jerome was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed motorcycle riding to the very end. Jerome leaves to mourn: his devoted mother and father, Juanita and Mathes McMillan of Moncks Corner S.C; daughters, Sincere' and Charnelle and their mother Lynn; sisters, Poletia, Alma and Amanda of Moncks Corner, S.C., brothers, James, Pee-wee, Troy, Fabian and Eric; grandmother, Edith Lambright; sister-in-law, Caroline of Queens, NY; niece, Brijah; nephews, Jeremy, James and their mother Susan, Dejua, and Troy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
