It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reverend Melvin A. McClennon, Sr. of St. Stephen, SC, who transitioned into eternal rest with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his children, Mrs. Mary B. Seaward, Mrs. Barbra M. Lucas, Mrs. Catherine M. Smith (Harvey), Mr. Melvin A. McClennon, Jr., Ms. Julia Wright McClennon, Reverend Dr. Sterling McClennon (Eartha), Mr. Preston W. McClennon and Mr. Darria A. McClennon (Precious); grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Reverend McClennon was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary J. McClennon and son, Mr. Christopher McClennon.

Viewing will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home (Moncks Corner). His Graveside service will be PRIVATE. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family. Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not receiving visitors at the home. They are grateful for your prayers and understanding during this difficult time.
