Michael Anthony Bryant, also known as "China Man" to many, the son of Simmeone "Joe Louis" Bryant and Frances Nelson Bryant, was born on December 4, 1959 in Berkeley County, SC. Michael departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Charleston, SC. Mike attended the public schools of Berkeley County. He later enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Military Police Officer. At an early age, Mike attended Centenary United Methodist Church. Mike always displayed a "thumbs up" gesture. He will be missed by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Simmeone "Joe Louis" Bryant. He leaves to cherish his memories: his companion, Sandra Maria Wright of Ladson, SC; a son, Calvin Wright of Ladson, SC; a loving mother, Frances Bryant of Moncks Corner, SC; one sister, Jacqueline Bryant of North Charleston, SC; two brothers, Archie Bryant and Rev. Gerald (Barbara) Bryant both of Moncks Corner, SC; a grandmother, Phoebe Ann Carter of Moncks Corner, SC; a special aunt, Lucille Bryant of Charleston, SC; three uncles, Rev. Dr. Nehemiah (Letha) Bryant of Moncks Corner, SC, Vernon (Phoebe) Carter of Augusta, GA and Charles Carter of Charleston, SC; four aunts, Barbara Carter and Sharon Knowles both of Goose Creek, SC, Elaine (Rodger) Palmer of Moncks Corner, SC and Deloris (Donnie) Vanish of Philadelphia, PA; one granduncle, Rev.
