Michael Theon Johnson was born on January 10, 1979, in Charleston, SC. He was the son of Donna Johnson.

Michael, known to most as "Bolo" or "Rev.", received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County, SC. He worked in landscaping which he thoroughly enjoyed. Many loved his work and he was considered the best landscaper in the town of St. Stephen, SC.

As a youth, Michael attended the Ministries of Truth Tabernacle, Cordesville, SC with his family.

Michael's hobbies included fishing, crabbing, swimming and dancing. He was also a Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He was a kindhearted person who was willing to help anyone.

Michael's spirit left this earth on June 15, 2021.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Van Henry Johnson and his uncle, Elijah Whitlock.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Donna Johnson; sisters, Shanika (Dexter) Pringle, Sharee Judge, Tonda Brown and Jennifer Judge; grandmother, Shirley Whitlock; great-grandmother, Louise Johnson; aunt, Sonja Whitlock; uncle, Tony Dawson; and a host of aunts,

Viewing will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home (Moncks Corner). His Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Ministries of Truth Tabernacle, 1169 Old Church Road, Cordesville, SC.
