IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Kenneth
Judge
June 3, 1961 – July 14, 2023
LIFE REFLECTIONS
On Friday, July 14, 2023, God in His infinite wisdom dispatched His heavenly angels to Cross, South Carolina to carry his children, Michael Kenneth Judge, from out of this world of darkness into His glorious and marvelous light.
Kenneth was born on June 3, 1961 in Charleston, SC, a son of Ernestine Jeanette Judge and Andy George Green, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was educated in the public school system of Charleston County and graduated from Bonds-Wilson High School.
Being one to make sure those he loved was well taken care of; Kenneth was employed by Cohen Capital Materials. Always striving for better, he joined the team at O.L. Thompson Construction and worked there faithfully until illness kept him from fulfilling his duties.
Kenneth loved his Lord with all of his being and joined Living Word Apostolic Holiness Church under the pastor ship of Reverend Nathaniel Jones, Jr. and was ordained a Deacon. Upon moving to Moncks Corner and reconnecting with his grandmother, the late Mrs. Florence Gibbs, he began attending Nazareth Reformed Episcopal Church where he found his niche working on the Black History Committee.
Kenneth loved music and he always "talked" about going fishing – even amassing a great collection of rods and reels -, but he never went one time. He was however, an avid fan of college and professional basketball and football, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He never missed watching a game.
Kenneth was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Maxine Hamilton. To this union, two children were born. He later wed the former Carolyn Young.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Judge; his sister, Doris Ray Oliver; his maternal grandmother, Juliet Lyons and his paternal grandmother, Florence Gibbs.
Kenneth leaves to cherish fond memories: his devoted fiancée, LoCarol Darlene Mack; children, Michael Kenneth Judge, Jr. and Destiny Judge; stepchildren, Tatiana and Catrea Young; adopted children, Stevenson Jamaal and Devon Xavier Mack; grandchildren, Kaydon Judge and Michael K. Judge III; special grandchild, MacKenna Mack; siblings, Ernest Judge, Rhonda Ravenell, Carl Judge, Tameka Jenkins (Al), Donald Judge and Viola Greene; a special uncle, Amos Green; special friends, Tommy Kelly and William Nixon; and a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
