With profound sadness, at the request of her loving daughter Ramona, Gethers Funeral Home announces the heavenly transition of Mrs. Mildred B. Rembert, age 89, of Decatur, Georgia. Born on February 28, 1935, to the late Deacon Phillip S. Brown, Sr. and Deaconess Mattie Shine Brown, Mrs. Rembert peacefully departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 8:43 p.m., surrounded by love.

A devoted wife to the late Mr. Gabriel Rudolph Rembert, Mrs. Rembert was a retired educator with the Berkeley County School District, where she inspired countless students with her wisdom, care, and dedication.

We ask for your heartfelt prayers and support during this time of loss. May God's strength, love, and peace surround the family during this time of profound loss.

The family will receive friends at the residence of the late Mr. John Rembert on Thursday, December 26th and Friday, December 27th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Public Visitation: Friday, December 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC.

Order of the Eastern Star Rites: Friday, December 27, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Gethers Funeral Home.

Viewing: Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing after the service.

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Reformed Episcopal Church, 2173 Highway 45, Pineville, SC 29468. The link to watch the service live-streamed is: https://www.facebook.com/redeemerre.church/

Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Highway 52, St. Stephen, SC.
