It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Mohamed Hassen Abdou, also known as KEITH McCANTS of Mount Morris, NY, formerly of Moncks Corner, SC, who departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2024 in New York.

He is survived by: one uncle, John H. Smalls; two aunts, Gloria (Waldron) Cephas and Linda McCants; and a host of cousins and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at O. Allen Gethers Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be NO PUBLIC viewing on Wednesday. Burial will be in Old Nazareth Cemetery, 2205 Wampee Drive, Pinopolis, SC.
