With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Mrs. Mozelle Barbara Middleton Griffith, who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. A faithful and gentle spirit, Mrs. Griffith was the widow of Mr. Frank Griffith.

A dedicated nurse's aide, she spent her life caring for others with compassion, kindness, and dignity.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Alice Bethea (Deacon William), Gertie Brock (Deacon Robert), Evelyn DeWitt (Elder Jasper), Hamp Middleton Jr. (Shelia), Althreasa M. Precia (Clinton), Shelton Graham, and Vera Gates. Her life was a blessing to a host of family and friends who were enriched by her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers St. Stephen Chapel, 221 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 272 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC. Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be no viewing after the service. Burial will follow at H and L Memorial Garden, Betaw Road, St. Stephen, SC.

The family will be receiving friends beginning Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
