Nancy Lee Gibbs Jordan, the daughter of the late Mr. Henry Gibbs and the late Mrs. Rosalee Ellington Gibbs Rivers, was born July 6, 1924 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She departed this life on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Riverdale Nursing Home, Bronx, New York. Nancy was educated in the Berkeley County Public School System. She moved to New York City, NY, at an early age and lived there until God called her home. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Elijah Gibbs and Mr. Marshall Rivers, and a great-grandson. Nancy leaves to cherish precious memories: her daughter, Gustine W. Taylor, Clarksville, TN; grandson, Sheldon E. Wilkins, South Carolina; three great-grandsons; four great-great-grandchildren; one loving sister, Mrs. Lucille R. Gamble, Kingstree, SC; special aunt, Ms. Anna Richmond; aunt, Ms. Genethea E. Middleton; uncle, Reverend Rufus Rivers; special niece, Ms. Helen D. Rivers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
