We are deeply saddened to share that Ms. Naomi McKelvey from St. Stephen, SC, has passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026. She touched many hearts during her life, and her memory will live on through her loved ones.

Naomi is survived by her daughter, Roslyn F. McKelvey, her sister-in-law, Sulie McKelvey, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She is now reunited with her parents, Abraham and Estelle McKelvey, as well as her siblings: Mary Dingle, Henry McKelvey, Celia Gourdine Robinson, Albertha McKelvey, Ethel Davis, and Willie Mae Sumter, who all welcomed her with open arms.

Viewing will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, 3:00 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace St., Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026, 12:00 p.m., at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 1143 Imperial Drive, St. Stephen, SC. There will be no viewing after the service. Burial will follow in Old Field Cemetery. 

While the family is not receiving visitors at this time, they appreciate your prayers and support as they navigate this difficult time.  Thank you for remembering Naomi and keeping her spirit alive in your hearts.
