Naomi Brown Cleaton Willis was born on March 31, 1957 in St. Stephen, SC. She was the daughter of Charlie Washington and Jeannette Brown Roberts. She departed this life on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Goose Creek, SC.

Naomi, known to family and friends as "No-No", received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County and graduated from Macedonia High School, Class of 1975. While in high school, she played basketball.

Naomi was united in marriage to Odell Cleaton in 1988 and gave birth to a son Odell S. Cleaton II on September 9, 1991. Her husband preceded her in death. On May 12, 2019, she was united in marriage to Dennis L. Willis, Sr.

Naomi was a loving and devoted mother, wife, and member of Rock Hill Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC. She loved to travel and was a member of a bowling league.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Vanessa Yvette Davis.

Naomi will be remembered by: her husband, Rev. Dennis L. Willis, Sr.; son, Odell S. Cleaton II; daughter, Beryl A. Cleaton; stepchildren, David L. (Vernetta M.) Willis, DeBorah L. (David Redd) Willis and Dennis L. (DeChristian M.) Willis, Jr.; father, Charlie Washington; mother, Jeannette B. Roberts; stepmother, Rodessa Washington; siblings, Celeste M. Washington and Brian Washington; grandchildren, Jaleeya Mack and Raevyn Dogan; aunt, Eunice Warren; uncle, Peter (Linda) Brown, Jr.; mother-in-law, Estella Johnson; niece, Niara Washington; nephews, Deshawn Washington and Brandon Davis; and a host of family, friends and colleagues.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at her residence, 135 Roosevelt Drive, St. Stephen, SC. As per CDC guidelines for COVID-19, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. The family is grateful for your prayers and understanding during this difficult time.
