Mr. Oliver James Wigfall, son of the late James H. and Mabel S. Wigfall, was born on July 6, 1931, in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County. He worked as a longshoreman and also performed landscaping. At an early age, he joined New Hope United Methodist Church. Oliver was married to the late Marie Johnson. To this union one son, Ronald Ricky Wigfall, was born. Oliver was kind in all of his ways and sincere in all of his doings. He planted a vegetable garden during the season and shared the vegetables with family and friends. He also had a love for animals. Oliver departed this life on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant Manor, Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary E. Luckey. He leaves to mourn: one son, Ronald Ricky Wigfall (Seheli); two brothers, Christopher Joe Wigfall of North Charleston, SC and Herbert Wigfall (Rhonda) of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, J. Elizabeth Fordham (Fred Sr.) of North Charleston, SC, Della Mae Hills of Bronxville, NY and J. Geneva Williams of Huger, SC; brother-in-law, Roy Luckey of Fort Pierce, FL; two grandsons, Imond and Ronnie Ricky Jr.; two granddaughters, Jade and Jordyn; nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
