It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Otto "Sawzee" Spruill, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 9, 2024.

He is survived by his children, Bruce Spruill, Billy Land, Aliyah Sana, Hakim Spruill and Aesha Spruill; siblings, Lucy Collins, Betty Lou Spruill, Bobby Spruill, Linda Moore, Shirley Spencer, Peggy Spruill, Michael Spruill and David Spruill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Spruill, and sons, Khalid and Bilal Spruill.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at Mt. Carmel AME Church, 1059 Old Black Oak Road, Moncks Corner, SC. Interment will be in the church's cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
