Paul Gadsden was born March 23, 1943 in Russellville, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Queen Gadsden. Paul departed this life on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at his home in Pineville, South Carolina. Paul joined Redeemer Reformed Episcopal Church, Pineville, SC at an early age. He graduated from Russellville High School and enlisted in the United States Army. After serving his country, he returned home and became gainfully employed at Braswell Shipyard in Charleston, SC. Paul was united in holy matrimony on March 15, 1988 to Victoria Timmons of Pineville, SC. Paul was preceded in death by two siblings, Marion Gadsden and Shirley Gadsden-Mitchell. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Victoria Gadsden; four grandchildren of the home, Tierra, Jeffrey Jr., Jasmine and Moana Timmons; daughter, Jimetta (David) Davis-Martin of St. Stephen, SC; ten stepchildren, William Timmons Jr., Cheryl (Theo) Luckett, and Adolf Timmons of Virginia Beach, VA, Darrell (Marlo) Timmons of Charlotte, NC, Brenda (Michael) Singleton and Anthony (Ashley) Timmons of Fayetteville, NC, Jeffrey Timmons, Vincent (Dominique) Gillard and DeAngelo Timmons of Pineville, SC, and Pamela Bennett-Jones of St. Stephen, SC; a brother, Vaughn (Judy) Gadsden of Plainfield, NJ; seven brothers-in-law, Paul (Shirley-deceased) Mitchell, Earl (Deborah) Bennett and Thomas (Bernice) Bennett of St. Stephen, SC, Louis (Carrie) Bennett of New Jersey, Festa (Mary) Bennett of New York, NY, Felix Judge and Isaac Prioleau both of Pineville, SC; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Almond and Cynthia Milford of Pineville, SC and Vernell (Jonathan) Woods of St. Stephen, SC; a special family friend, Bernice Collins of Charleston, SC; 33 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. ****************************************************************************** To leave an online memorial message for the family, please click on "Sign the Guestbook" below.
