With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Paul Nesbitt of Huger, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Mr. Nesbitt was the beloved husband of Mrs. Albertha “Nan” Nesbitt. 

He is also survived by his children; Pearl (Euclid A.) Smith and Minister Ebony Nesbitt, grandchildren; Demetria-Mone D. Smith, Avant Hardaway, Vindya Hardaway, and Kristopher Hardaway, siblings; Pearl Nesbitt, bonus sister; Mildred (Isaac), godson; Travis Nesbitt, along with his extended family and friends who will miss him deeply.

Viewing will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Life Center, 152 Heywardridge Lane, Huger, South Carolina. Interment will follow in the New Hope United Methodist Cemetery, Huger, South Carolina.

As the family navigates this sudden loss, they are not receiving visitors at the home at this time. They are deeply grateful for your prayers, love, support, and understanding during this difficult season. While visits are not being received, your phone calls, kind expressions of sympathy, and words of encouragement are sincerely appreciated.
