Ms. Priscilla L. Lawrence, daughter of Priscilla G. Lawrence and the late Marion Lawrence, was born June 6, 1977.  She went home to rest with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, Charleston, SC.

Prissy (Peeko), as she was affectionately known, spent her early years in Saint Stephen, SC, where she attended White Chapel Holiness Church and Thomas Temple Holiness Church.  At the time of her passing, she was a faithful member of Life Empowerment – The Safe House under Bishop Morlon Gibbs. Prissy was educated in the schools of Berkeley County, graduating from Saint Stephen High School, Class of 1996. She later continued her education at Allen University in Columbia, SC.

Prissy was a lifelong Christian who enjoyed church, travel, and LOVED children especially her nieces and nephews. Before being diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and Lymphedema, she would travel miles around for a good message and to support her family in their endeavors. She also enjoyed sewing and made many beautiful blankets and handkerchiefs.

Prissy was a devoted family member who always had a kind and inspiring word to offer. She was a great listener with a huge heart. She will truly be missed.

Prissy leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted mother, Priscilla G. Lawrence; her siblings, Patrick Gerald, Eureka Anderson (Jeff) and Roberto Gerald (Cappucine); her nieces and nephews, Emory, Tyeshia, DeAundre, Shailicia, Ra, Righteous, Gavin, Cali, Premo and a very special niece Share-elle; her aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of family and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers St. Stephen Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will follow on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Gethers Funeral Chapel - St. Stephen, 221 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC. Interment will take place at Tri Churches Cemetery. Kindly note that there will be no viewing after the service.

During this season of mourning, we humbly ask that you hold the Lawrence and Gerald families in your thoughts and prayers, offering them strength and comfort.
